“Grass is a very important part of your landscape. Not only is it visually appealing, also environmentally necessary. The average size lawn produces enough oxygen for a family of four to breathe. At the same time it removes carbon dioxide, dust, dirt, and other air pollution from our air. Grass reduces soil erosion and cools the air around us. Turfgrass is 90% water, but only a small part of the plant is above ground.”

- Hydro Turf Planters Association

Nor-Pro offers expert installation of hydro-seed, sod and over-seeding for your landscape needs.

Sod is “instant grass”. It comes in squares or rolls of grass with a root and top vegetation already formed. It is grass that has been removed from a farm and put on pallets ready for installation.

Hydroseed consists of mixed fiber mulch, grass seed, fertilizer and/or other additives. This mix is placed into a machine to form a slurry. It is then sprayed under pressure in a uniform application over the soil.

Over-seeding is the process in which a machine equipped with a knife-like attachment which is filled with lawn seed cuts and inserts seed into the top layer of the soil.

Nor-Pro will help you evaluate several factors in your selection of sod vs. hydroseed:

Based on your personal preferences and budget, Nor-Pro will recommend the best choice for your turf installation needs
